Kick Start Homework – Day 7-8

The idea of this homework was to find yourself a challenge, like a time challenge, a colour challenge, a limited supply challenge or an online challenge. Well, this was a 2 in 1 challenge for me. I love this new stamp but at first I had no idea how to go on with it. Then I checked what the current challenge on CAS-Friday is and it turned out be an autumn-themed one. As I don't have any autumn-coloured cardstock I remembered what Kristina Werner in of her videos the other day did: she used her Copics to create the borders she needed. So I did the same. Well, as I said my Copic Ciao markers are brand-new so I'm still exploring their use. I also remembered what Joy Taylor and Debby Hughes sometimes does and I coloured some rhinestones with my markers to match the borders. I'm not sure about this card yet, but I think I like it. I'm gonna write a sentiment with a white gel pen under the flowers as soon as I know who will get it. :)

This is so beautiful, Aaga! The colors are perfect for fall themed challenge! I love how you copic-colored the gems ( I did just that today, too!) to match the colors of the stamped image and paper. So glad that you join the fun with us at CAS-ual Fridays!

Aaga - I love the colors you used here! I also love the trick about using Copics to create matching papers and rhinestones - that's come in handy quite a few times! Thank you so much for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
