Day 3 was all about fluid masking. As I haven't got the slightest idea what it is called in Hungary :)) or where to buy it and it's around 30 C these days here (not the best temperature for a preggo lady but I like that it's nice and sunny at last) I decided to replace it by Glossy Accent. And it worked! OK, you cannot peel it off but I think it's still a nice opportunity. I followed Debby's wood pattern in this case.

HB Card to Linda
It's a pretty simple card as it has to go through the mail to Switzerland. Just some watercolouring, a new Scrapfellow stamp and a sentiment cut with my Silhouette. Have a great weekend!

The Best of August
Finally, I'm back in blogland so that I can share with you the card I made for my hubby's birthday. He's favourite colour is green and I wanted to combine it with something really summery, because I just love August. I think I like the details very much on this one. :-)
The dragonfly was made by the wife of my godfather. I want her to teach me how to do it. I used to have it in several colours and I'm almost out of them. lol The popped up right part of the card was painted with watercolours and oh how I loved this part. :-) I love the embossing too because there was a lucky accident with the 3rd circle and it looks really cool now I think. The sentiment is also painted and I tried to follow the simple advise of Kristina Werner: up bold, down thin. Well, for sure I should practice but for a first it looks pretty good.
And while I'm here why not to enter this card into this challenge: Simon Says Stamp - Summer
Thanks for tuning in, I'll be back soon! :-)

Water-themed and -coloured card
This is my second scheduled post for this week as I leave for the UK for two weeks and I didn't want to leave it here all alone. LOL
I whipped up this card in like 15 minutes (which is veeeery fast for me) because it was a late nameday card for my dad. We spent a week in Croatia with my parents so its theme was obvious and that's also the reason why it was late. :)

I used my brand new watercolour set and a little bit of embossing before I hand stitched its left side. Then I tried my lettering skills and wrote 'Dad' on the right side.
To finish it off I put a textile button with a starfish on it in the top right corner.
I'm also entering this into this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Anything Goes challenge.

A Birthday Card That Travels With Us
To Scotland to be exact. It'll be our Scottish friend's birthday on the 4th August and we were invited to meet them during their summer holiday back in Scotland. I wanted this card to be pretty special for her so I was delighted when checking out the current RIC photo and said: yes, that's it!
I've bought recently a Kohinoor watercolour kit - better later than never. It has 16 beatuiful colours and I decided to try them for backgrounds first.
The flowers fit just perfectly to the inspirational photo in colours. I chose them from Basic Grey's Fresh Cut paper pad and fuzzy cut the image by hand.
You have still time to take part in this challenge. I think its colours are fantabolous - again!

Pastel Easter
Spring is officially here and I'm loving the colours of the latest Cure For The Monday Blues.
This meant I had to begin my preparation for Easter with a pastel card!
Besides I did want to take part in Virginia's View challenge too, so I thought some paint would do no harm... well, it didn't, at least to my card. My light blue cutting mat however is full of small light green splatters.
Well, well, at least I learned something! LOL
Go and checkout those fabolous new challenges and create something beautiful! I am certainly still over the moon even after being back from our honeymoon LOL but slowly getting back to normal life.
Thanks for stopping by!

Enamel Dots and Watercolor Paper Card
This is another use of my coool enamel dots... Yeah, I'm way behind the trends but I don't care.
