When this post goes live, I'll be a bit more excited than the day before since it'll be only two days until our wedding! Anyway, I still had to produce a thank you card for a dear colleague of mine who'd leave us by the end of the month. On the top of that I won't be here when they give it to him... oh, well. So I wanted to create something pretty - in a masculine way. And since nowadays the
RIC challenges inspire me a LOT (thanks to Jennifer), I decided to go with
this weeks photo.
Well, I couldn't imagine myself wearing this dress but I admit it's a pretty one. :-) So here goes my card to it.
Just like in the inspirational photo, there's a lot of stripes going on here, eh? It almost feels like a Julie Ebersole card for me. I said almost. There's a long way to go for me till I get there. LOL
By the way, my colleague loves his black bike, so to highlight it I put shiny glossy accent on it.
I'm also entering this card into the latest
Lawnscaping Challenge - Dust 'em Off as I haven't used those ties in ages!
Thanks for stopping by and please think of me on Saturday so that I won't fall over on the church steps like Jennifer Garner did at the Oscar's! :-D
Wonder where the title of this post comes from?
Here you go.
