The 1st Project With My Sewing Machine

... was this envelope pillow case for our living room. I bought the fabric and filler at IKEA and my hubby measured everything out carefully. Then I sewed the pillow with the help of this video. From the rest of the fabric, I'm planning to make a cover for my sewing machine. :-)

Sorry for being silent for so long. I do have my reasons. In November I felt really exhausted and tired all the time, so I tried to keep the main things going only... Well, it looks like we're gonna have a little fella arriving early July. :-) This is my news for 2015! Happy new year everyone!

By the way, it's a thank you card and it has no sentiment outside because you could see it through the vellum leaf, which for personal reasons hasn't been photographed. :-)

Some Sparkles For a Birthday

This card matches its recepients: a playful, bright, brilliant mom and teacher and her brilliant little boy.
(And I love her original American chocolate chip cookie recipe!)

Xmas card 2014 #2

This is from the piece where the reindeer came from in my previous post. :) It's really simple, I just put some stickles on certain bulbs of the Christmas trees to make the background more interesting.
