Végre új képeslap // A new card at last

Végre készítettem új képeslapot. Felirat nem került rá, mivel a torta szerintem mindent elmond. A bélyegző a Scrapfellow szülinapos szettjéből, Promarkerrel (soft peach) színeztem, az arany Little B washi tape Pippitől, akinek hétvégén nyílt a bemutatóterme és babástól meglátogattuk, a flitterek pedig Lucy-tól (ezeket glossy-val ragasztottam, eddig ez volt a legpraktikusabb más ragasztókhoz képest).

At last I made a new card. There's no sentiment on the outside as the cake says it all. The stamp is from Scrapfellow's birthday set that I coloured with a Promarker (soft peach), the extra wide, gorgeous Little B washi tape is from Pippi and the sequins are from Lucy's shop (I glued these down with glossy, this is the most practical one for me so far).

I enter this card into Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes challenge.

Can You Spot It?

It's not easy even to sit down in the last days before my due date, so this one might be my last card for a little while. However, one of my friends' had her baby girl very recently, which means I have to send her a cute card. And PaperSmooches current Picture Perfect Challenge gave a great opportunity for this.

Can you spot the little elephant on yellow background below on the shelf? :-) Now that's where my elephants came from! Hopefully, you can spot also the other elements of the photo on my card, like the zigzag pattern, the yellow, aqua and white colours etc.

OCC Mask-erade Day 1

Thanks to Debby's and Laura's careful instructions about ink-blending I FINALLY managed to get a nice and smooth result (look at that perfect circle!). Even if I have only large post-it notes for masking. The secret of the butterfly: at the very last bead, it didn't fully stick onto my cardstock and then I managed to tear it up. :-O Then I had to apply a butterfly band-aid to heal it. :-) I like the overall look of the card I'll give ink-blending another try more confidently next time.

RIC #84

I rarely make cards without a white card base. But it had to happen in this case. :-) It's pretty simple too, I hope you can see the glossy on the triangles and the shinyness of the gold balloons. I coloured in the triangles with HA - Raspberry Jam and TH - Picked Raspberry inks after squishing them onto an acrylic block.

Yes, I'm a bit behind with posting my mother's day cards, but going on maternity leave doesn't mean you have all the time of the world for yourself. :-)) I have one more to post and then I'm back to regular birthday cards, currently working on a sea-themed one.

Sea themed card

I ran out of foam tape while making the very last side (booo), so I had to finish it with mini foam squares, which resulted in some sticking sequins... Anyway,  it was made for my brother's 23rd birthday this Wednesday and since he's all about water, I think this card is perfect. :-)

Random Post

I made these last weekend too. The first one is decorated with an SRM sticker and some distress ink, it used to hold caviar, now I store my tiny googly eyes in it.

Ezeket is múlt hétvégén készítettem. A kis tárolót SRM matricával és egy kis distress tintával díszítettem. Kaviáros üveg volt, most a pici rezgőszemeket tárolom benne. :))

And this one I made after seeing Julie Ebersole's very similar card. I just couldn't resist.
Ezt pedig a fent nevezett blogon láttam, és annyira megtetszett, hogy muszáj volt vmi nagyon hasonlót csinálnom.
