Hurray

I've just won this calendar kit from Pippi. It's full of goodies as I imagine that I will looooove. Thanks Pippi, thanks 2014! Now back to our wedding preps...

PS: I have finished our summer holiday album and will begin to prepare a full-sized wedding album that I'll do with the help of the first online scrapbooking course I've ever attented. I should also create something super-special for D's mom till February. Busy bee days!

September...Are We Just Starting Again?

Now that I've a had a minor (but painful) surgery on my big toe that'll recover completely  in three (!) months, September is really like in one of my fave U2 song, Please:

September
Streets capsizing
Spilling over
Down the drain
Shards of glass splinters like rain
But you could only feel
Your own pain

And yes, I'm still behind with my calendar a bit... but I know our official engagement dinner with our parents is closer because our wedding rings are ready and we got to take them next Tuesday!  :)

Challenge:
CAS-ual Fridays - Fall Colors & A Leaf
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Cameling Soon

First the big news: I was a Featured Player with my hippo card of the previous Paper Smooches challenge. Wooohooo! This is the first little 'official' acknowledgement for me. :)

Well it's not that far away, is it? It's usually August when most Hungarian families go on holiday because it's near 4O C outside and because we have lots of rain in July.

This is my next calendar page. I still have to make the pages for the rest of the year. :))
Challenge: Simon Says Stamp - Use An Arrow

And yes, I'm not even sure if that word pun should be written with double 'l' or not. Sorry for that! :)

Supplies: SRM - calendar stickers, Paper Smooches - Zoo Crew and Alpha-dot set, Bo Bunny papers, Simon Says Stamp - Shelter From The Storm set, HA - Butter dye ink, ColorBox - red pigment ink, Memento - brown ink, Tim Holtz - Scattered Straw distress ink

Calendar Pages 2

This is my first post today, please also check out my gift box with a pin wheel.

Yes, I'm quite slow.... but at least they are ready. :)

You can find January and February here.

I'd like to enter the April page into Simon's Let's Get Paper Piercing challenge.
And I'd like to enter the May page into CAS-ual Fridays' Make Your Mark challenge (the tree is coloured with Copics).

Supplies: SRM stickers, Konnichiwa stamp set (HA&BG), Sunnier Days stamp set (Simon Says Stamp), Critters Down Under (Lawn Fawn), Geo-Graphic (Paper Smooches), Tuxedo black (Memento ink), Tide Pool/Raspberry Jam/Butter Bar (Hero Arts midtone ink), Red/pink/yellow ink (ColorBox), liquid pearl pen, Sweet Days 6x6 pad (Echo Park)

Calendar - January and February

These are the first 2 months that I created from Virginia's SRM stickers (plus a piece of the cardstock she secured the envelope with - quite unnoticable ;-).

Nearly everything on them is new in my stash. I got the washi tape with birds and the EK Success border punch from my little bro for Xmas - he's so cool! The lamp on the February card is also from my new HA - Konnichiwa set and I haven't used it yet. I like it so much that it has flowers on it. I tried to make these months as happy as possible because for me they are the longest and greyest months of the year but I still like them. :)

I'd like to enter them into following challenges - I hope they count though they're not cards :)

Simon Says Stamp - New Something

A Blog Named Hero - New Year, New You
Paper Smooches - Anything Goes

Supplies: washi tape, EK SUCCES border punch, SRM calendar stickers, Paper Smooches - Geographic stamp set, HA&BG - Konnichiwa stamp set, HA mid tone inks (Butter Bar, Raspberry Jam, Tide Pool)

Calendar Pages

I'm working on a small calendar with V's SRM calendar stickers at the moment but I'm quite slow because of the holidays and all the travelling. However, January and February are now ready and I'll post them tomorrow, hopefully. I can't wait to sit in my craftroom for a longer period again. :) I also won an e-gift card from Marie and I can't decide now what to delete from my cart. Decisions, decisions. :)

And if I were you I'd check out Marie's new 7 or Less series and the interview with the fabolous Debby on Wida's blog. She is my superhero in blogland. :) This must have something to do with the fact that she' living in Scotland, I suspect. ;)

Alrigthy, that's all for now, I'll be back soon.
