Mad Woman Colouring
This is my 2nd post for today, you can check out the 1st one with many yummy colours and sparkliness for the current Curtain Call challenge here.
This week's Runway Inspired Challenge was a big challenge for me. I was colouring this card like a mad woman yesterday evening. LOL My hubby stepped in and asked what I was doing and I said: 'Shhh, I've got an idea!' I just truly hope you can see it too. :-D
The stamp is originally an inverse background stamp from HA that I smudged with shadow inks and pressed at an angle to my cardstock so that it totally resembles the upper part of the dress. Then I coloured in the flowers with my Indian ink pens (basically, the same as distress markers) and stroke them with a size 2, wet paint brush. And then I couldn't resist adding 2 matching enamel dots. :-) I think they totally fit the bill.
Thanks so much for checking my card out! ;-)

A Wannabe Guest Designer Post
So Create a Smile Stamps is a totally new company on the horizon and they decided to give away a Guest Designer Spot for their very first release. I was on vacation last week but I would love to be on Christine's team even for two posts! You have still time to try your luck with their freebies here.
This is the card I whipped up with some Promarkers, a chipboard stencil from Scrapfellow (I cut off a piece of it for the nest ... whoops), candydots and alphabet stamps. I put some foam adhesive under the birdie's head so that not only the nest looks 3D. The sentiment means: Hooray! You turned 1 year old! Which is obviuosly for our soon-to-be-godson in September. ;-)
Check out Create a Smile and stay tuned for their first release on 11 July. I'm sure I will!

Temperly London
Is the name of the current challenge at RIC's. And I went along with this picture.
I got new markers, so I combined Copics and Promarkers with some PaperSmooches stamps here. I have to say I'm more satisfied with Promarkers currently (not only because they're somewhat cheaper).
The idea of the washi tape background for the sentiment came in in the end. I wanted it to pop out, since it'll be for some other newly weds. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by!
