All Kinds of Vehicles

This time a friend of mine asked me to make a card for their English friend. She said they both love planes and also that her friend loved the boat ride when he visited them last time in Hungary. So I included both. Then it turned out that her friend also loves riding the bicycle in the woods. And so I put also a bicycle on it. :-) I truly hoped it wouldn't turn out he loved garbage trucks, too. ;-)

I've been planing to use chipboard vehicles on cards for a long time so this was the perfect occasion for it. I also ordered some fruit chipboards and I've already made a small greeting card with strawberries for my family while I was dog-sitting at my parents' house for a weekend. I didn't have a camera on hand, but maybe I'll share it here some time.

I'd like to enter this card into the latest SSS challenge: Things with wings and IN[K]SPIRE_me Challenge #95.

PS: I seem to be obsessed with that mint washi tape but I just love it! Perfect colour.

As always, thanks for stopping by!!

Suppies: Neenah Desert Storm and Solar White cardstock, Memento Tuxedo black and Cocoa inks, Scrapfellow chipboards, Echo Park 6x6 pad, mint washi tape, green-white baker's twine from the Twinery

OCC Homework Day 4 - Part 2

I'll keep this post short as I have to run now. This is the 'Her' part of my homework for Day 4 at OCC, aka my Mother's Day card. I kept the sketch of my masculine card, but put more embellishments on it. Hope my mom will like it tomorrow!

Thanks for your nice comments so far, I'll try to wander around a bit later too and check you guys out with your homework! ;)

Challenges:
In(k)spire Me - Muttertag
bastel-traum.ch - Muttertag/Vatertag

Supplies: Bazzil Butter mint cardstock, yellow and white striped washi, mint washi, Versamark ink, Ranger Queen Gold embossing powder, HA & BG Konnichiwa stamp set, Prima flowers, Basic Grey Sweet Pea alphabet collection, Christmas red Stickles, small heart punch

OCC Homework Day 4 - Part 1

This is my masculine card for Day 4 - but not a Father's Day card as we don't celebrate it here. This time I kept the sketch for both cards, so I'll be back with my Mother's Day card in the next post.

Keeping those straws in place wasn't that easy! So it is kind of an experimental card too.

Supplies: Neenah Desert Stormand Solar White cardstock, mint and white straws, Uniball white gel pen, HA Cup o' Joe mid tone ink, SSS Music to my ears stamp set, little star punch, yellow Copic

Thanks again for stopping by! :)

OCC Homework Day 2 - Part 2

Well, a bit later than I promised but here's the male version of this card. I kept the colours and tried Jennifer's technique from Day 2 with a moustach stamp from Lawn Fawn.

Straight lines, minimal design, simple typewrite fonts.

I'll skip the homework for Day 3 as we don't really use Sympathy cards in Hungary but rather plain and simple black and white telegrams when needed. So it'd be rather strange for me to make a sympathy card and I couldn't really use them.
But I'll be back with my homework for Day 4! Stay tuned!

Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, mint washi tape, Uniball white gel pen, white embossing powder, Lawn Fawn Happy Father's Day stamp set, HA mid tone inks (tide pool, butter bar), VersaCraft white pigment ink, Versamark ink

Thanks for stopping by!

OCC Homework Day 2

Believe it or not, this is for a girl. See the golden embossed flowers behind the bike? My good friend from Switzerland loves motorbikes, in fact she has a rather huge Töff (as they say in Schwitzer Dütsch) and she loves riding it in the mountains.

I chose to you use the same or similar colours for my 'His' card for this OCC homework. So expect another card some time in the evening (nearly done, only needs a sentiment:).

Challenge: Paper Smooches - Anything Goes

Supplies: Neenah Desert storm and Solar white cardstocks, Ranger Queen gold embossing powder, Versamark ink, Pebbles blue candy dots, mint green washi tape, chipboard bike, Paper Smooches Alpha-dot set, HA & BG Konnichiwa stamp set

OCC Homework Day 1

While my masculine card for Day 2 is still in the works, here's how I interpreted the homework for Day 1 at the Online Card Class His & Hers. I made this for my Granny for Mother's Day (coming up this Sunday in Hungary), so I made it simple and elegant.

Supplies: Neenah solar white and desert storm cardstock, black Copic Ciao marker, HA pale tomato shadow ink, HA flower stamp, Typoface rub-on letters
